Buckley is lying again to the reader as there were not many meetings, there was only one and unknown to the Custodians she had made the decision in advance of the meeting to keep the telephone in the custodian room. Buckley only paid lip service to teamwork.
At the
one meeting Buckley disrespected the 26 year veteran Head Custodian to the point that he expressed that she made him feel that he did not count while Fisher felt beat up by Buckley. She was certainly not about to let some lowly "janitors" persevere. She shot them down and kissed them off on all counts. She was posturing in front of the young Vice Principal and she was marking her territory. Later in distorting the actual facts, Buckley would claim that Fisher took it negative and all others were positive and agreed to leave the phone in the custodian room. The Head Custodian was also negative about the meeting but backed down from fear of "Polly" as he called Buckley, he later confided to Fisher that we would never win.
Afterwards when Fisher reported that the door was found open 16 days in a row,
the Head Custodian sarcastically blurted out, let John Hinkling's kids have a drink of the chemicals in reaction to Buckley"s advice from Hinkling, saying that the kids would have to drink a lot of the chemicals to harm them!. Buckley interviewed the Head Custodian in Nov 98 and made notes that  he was also negative about the meeting yet she continues to lie to people & put in a letter that Fisher was the only negative voice. Zep certainly did not say that the cleaning chemicals were safe in the hands of children.
The "staff only" sign, took over a month to arrive, in the meantime Buckley did not even mount a temporary sign or address the scalding water.
Of course at the one meeting we had,
she stated that "we were making a big thing out of nothing" and additional statements she made repeated her compromising attitude towards safety.
Buckley had claimed that the teachers had left the door open as they did not know the chemicals were dangerous, yet after they were made aware, the door was still found open and unlocked.
Buckley replied, oh it's at the end of the day and the children have gone home! Yet there were stragglers that could get in, as the doors to the portable were not locked and there was often no teacher in the portables.
Fisher is proud that he stood up for protecting children's health and safety against a poorly trained, malicious, vindictive & pyschotic Principal. Click to PAGE 11 for a list of many precautions that Fisher took immediately, to protect the children.
Not long after, a bulletin was circulated warning that a custodian had received an eye injury from the cleaning chemicals, While another had burns to his arms from the very same chemicals stored in the room in question. Since then a man died from drinking chemicals that he found in a custodian room

Buckley clearly has problems, when she claims that Fisher complained about the custodial cleaning bottles found in a classroom. This was not complaining, it was his duty to report this finding as it impacted upon the student's safety.
It's disconcerning & dangerous to say the least that Buckley would put such a negative spin on this event.

With Buckley, if you did not report it, she accused you of withholding concerns and if you did report it she accused you of complaining or taking too much of her time. She made it a no win situation. She has problems indeed.

Since the custodian storage room was not kept closed and locked there was easy access to chemicals by persons not qualified to use them. These chemicals should never be taken from storage and used by young students.
When Buckley received the letter from Gwen Johnson confirming that Fisher's area was in fact oversize it was
Buckley that stated some things just won't get done.
There was a system in place for students to clean their desks long before Fisher arrived at the school.
The bottles of soap were
not labeled and some were missing. It was Buckley that wholeheartedly endorsed continuing this process of student participation.
Fisher suggested ordering bottles to replace those missing and he would label all the bottles as per WHMIS.
It was
Buckley's lack of custodial knowledge that allowed her to purchase bottles that were not clear see through and to place them in the classroom without labels, something that just is not safe.
Fisher was not willing to face her scorn again by telling her these facts again as she was not capable of accomodating a different opinion. Fisher had been beat up badly in the meeting about the telephone and did not want a repeat beating. Fisher often cleaned and disenfected the desks. The bottles often went empty because the contents level could not be seen.
It was not just a Ken Fisher concern as Buckley distorts & lies, but a safety precaution. As usual Buckley twists the facts. Fisher never agreed to non see through bottles. Fisher never agreed to unlabled bottles. Buckley had purchased them and had them placed in the classroom several days before Fisher was told about them. Buckley had beat Fisher up badly in the meeting about the telephone and she could not be trusted with a full opinion. Buckley just was not listening when asked for clear bottles and the need to label them.
As well if Buckley had the necessary knowledge to be a custodian supervisor that she would have been aware of those two points.
The Head Custodian discussed the non clear and unlabeled bottles with Fisher and just shrugged his shoulders saying that he wasn't going to say anything to her for
out of fear of her adverse reaction knowing full well that he was not dealing with a very stable person.
