Rubadeau has shown that he is incompetent & that he runs a very sloppy system without the necessary checks & balances that should be
found in our School District.

THESE ARE VERY VALID SAFETY CONCERNS

WRONGFUL DISMISSAL of CUSTODIAN FISHER
who blew the whistle on these unsafe conditions
Buckley is evading the main issue of the auto scrubber's tight fit and the danger to custodian's having to get it through the door without jamming fingers etc. The Head Custodian refused to remove the very large Chair and instead wrote a bad report on
Fisher's evaluation. This room is much too small and there is a danger of fingers being severely damaged.
Buckley was asked to address the matter yet never called a meeting to solve the problem. She then claimed that Fisher never brought matters of concern to her, yet when he did bring things to her attention she did nothing or accused him of taking too much of her time or said that he was complaining.
As usual with Buckley it was a no win situation.
Again Buckley screams loud & clear that "you are making a big thing out of nothing." If the fan cover could be removed it also could have been secured in place right away without needing R&M. Bad call by the Head Custodian. The very least, R&M should have been notified that it was a top priority. Custodian Fisher reported it immediately and found that it had been off for at least 3 weeks. Principal Buckley is alarmingly wrong when she claims that the fan cover was replaced in a resonable time, when very young curious children could have easily stuck a finger into the fast moving and sharp blades or touched exposed electrical wires resulting in injury or death!
That cover should have never been left off period! Buckley put children at risk!
Principal Buckley was observed entering the parking lot at an excessive speed, near children playing & walking. She set a very poor example & sent the wrong message to the community. Again Buckley has two sets of rules one for her & a 2nd set for others. Also Buckley failed to ensure that the speed limit warning sign was placed in the parking lot each day. Again Buckley was neglegent regarding student safety. Buckley put children at risk.. Worse is that she fails to recognize that she did indeed put children at risk of injury or death! Rather she  goes on distorting, lying & beating the messenger, Fisher.
Buckley was informed by Custodian Fisher at the Oyama school in 1997
that one bacteria, given
moisture, warmth, food and darkness grows
from just
one to 64 billion in 12 hours.

Yes from just 1 to 64 BILLION in 12 hours!
Obviously Buckley was not a very good student & did not learn.

Buckley should have known of the balled up wet rags left in the classroom sinks. They are a breeding ground for germs that spread throughout the school.
T
he advice that she accepts is incorrect.
They are a concern & as the on-site custodian supervisor, she should know it herself.
Safety is being compromised again by Buckley at the school!
                 Demand that School District #23:
1. Replace Rubadeau with a more competent Superintendent.
2/ Fix the problems regarding safety in the schools.
3/ Train the administration to run safe schools.
4/ Pay Custodian Fisher the money SD#23 cheated him out of.

SHAME ON RUBADEAU for mishandling this SCANDAL
On Nov 30/01 it was reported that the Worker's Compensation Board found that  SD #23 had an outdated health and safety policy & inadequate training records.

WCB also found that SD #23 lacked provisions for regular inspection of work methods and practices and that SD #23 did not have proper supervision of it's workers.

The WCB findings confirmed Fisher's concerns that removal of the full time supervisor in an effort to cut costs and place that responsibility on inadequately trained school principals would adversly affect the health and safety of students and staff.
More ALARMING!
Buckley submitted unwarranted & undeserving custodian Fisher job evaluations replete with error & inconsistency with the sole intentions of depriving Fisher of employment & to conspire with administration to defraud Fisher of money & regular employee status that included employee rights & benefits.
Because Fisher dared to speak up to protect children, Rubadeau wrote that Fisher had the potential to escalate his actions & become a safety hazard. Fisher who put his job on the line to protect children.
It is Rubadeau that parents have to worry about!
He should have thanked not punished Fisher for caring. Rubadeau should encourage staff to come forward not stifle their involvement.
